# 74 Fifty Flowers

I've heard pretty good reviews about FiftyFlowers.com. I really wanted peonies but they were just too darn expensive and I couldn't just order 5 stems at $5 a piece. So, I found a nice alternative: the garden rose light pink Miranda! It has the same fluffy feel to it but currently half the price. I might go ahead and order them in the next week or so. I wasn't deadset on peonies in the first place, I just wanted something pink, fluffy, and feminine and felt that grocery store florals wouldn't be able to provide that variety(except for the pink carnations). Plus, a sweet 5% coupon code which saves me $10. Sah-WEEE!!!!

# 57 update

I've made myself some deadlines but to heck if I'm really doing it! Invites were SUPPOSED to be done last Monday but I want to scrap the entire idea, therefore I'm back at square 1. Crap. crap. I am supposed to start printing in the middle of the month. Start stuffing and getting them ready to mail out by the end of the month. I think I might get ulcers. At least I'm supposed to start my centerpiece ceramics next week with the help of Carry! We're going to just make the vases. Why?
1) doing 12-15 skinny tall vases are less obvious than doing 12-15 HUGE island centerpieces.
2) it'll be a lot faster
3) since I'm technically not enrolled in a ceramics class, I don't want to get in trouble by using their sweet facilities.

I am trying to milk the fact that I'm still a student at UWF and I have sweet access to all of these facilities.

I took on a freelance job from the UWF History Dept. while being a fulltime student and an over-part time worker. We'll see how this semester turns out!! And the next because apparently Tommy B. wants us to go on a 2 week honeymoon vacation immediately following the wedding, therefore I'll be missing the first 2 weeks of school. Hey, I love my boo, what can I say. Can't wait for the 'moon. I loves it!

# 47 Aisle decor ... again

Going with the pine cone theme, the aisle could be lined with LARGE pinecones and the chairs can be loop-de-looped with real, beautiful ivy that I would snag right off the trees. Either that or intertwined with hemp so that the lines would be more rigid. I would then hang pinecone cuties stuffed with fern at the bottom on the ends of alternating chairs. Ground is full of pinestraw. HA! Found my ceremony decor. Also, the tree that would marry us would be dripping with either baby pinecones and/or white origami cranes. Uhm, how would that really match my decor? Whatev, the little birds are so cute!! I'll think about it later...

# 34 Plan B- in case of rain

We have to consider the fact that it *might* rain on our wedding day. Not good considering EVERYTHING about the wedding is outdoors... in the cold! So whoever's not taking our wedding seriously because it's outdoor on our property(backyard/camping connoctations) and thinking we're doing so because it's more cost effective can love it. Having it out here actually costs *more* than having it at a regular church and restaurant venue combined. Here's why: we're renting the individualized tables, chairs, and buying all of our linens, silverware, and chinaware in addition to purchasing and making centerpieces. Oh, we also have to have a plan B as well: renting a tent is just plain ugly and counterproductive. What's the point in having an "outdoor" wedding when you're just going to be putting them under a tent anyway? You still have to decorate as if it's an indoor setting- not going to work.

Our plan B is to clean out and make space at FFIL's 1st story of his sweet, rustic home. Either that, or combine it with handmade canopies/tarps(white of course!) and take it from there. Which is one main reason for us have it here in Molino, FL- much less chance of rain! Anyway, I absolutely love our "venue"- so natural, beautiful, and it allows me to be extremely creative because we're not limited to what the church or other venue's restrictions. We can have whatever food we want, drinks, decor, music, style, etc. For the reward of creativity and meaning, I'd rather work 3x as hard to make this wedding truly personable and uniquely ours.

#28 Pine Cone adoration

Ooh, girl, I gotta love me some pine CONES. I just have so many scattered across the yard that I KNOW I want to use them for something but not sure what without it seeming "homey" and very "DIY." I wouldn't use PCs in my bouquet but they're cute to look at anyway!

Cute idea. Would our outdoor decor match? To be honest I don't even WANT an aisle runner. Maybe have pinecones all along the aisle. Cute and woodsy. w/e
